2. Hobbyist & Specialty Power Engineer Program

In addition to our modern industrial licensing, ASOPE® offers a unique program tailored specifically for historical preservation and vintage equipment operation. This license is designed for operators who run and maintain Vintage Engines and Steam Traction Engines.

Unlike the Main Program, these specialty classifications are stand-alone credentials. Because they focus on historic preservation and unique antique safety standards, they do not serve as steps for progression within our primary stationary engineering licensing tiers.
